Helpful Safari Travel Tips

  • Some Helpful Reminders:
  • Ensure all passports are current and valid for at least 6 months AFTER the departure date, and each passport has at least 2 blank pages.
  • Make extra copies of passports and airline tickets to take with you on your trip. Please ensure you keep these documents separate from the originals in the event of an emergency such as you passport getting lost or stolen.
  • We always recommend you call the airlines directly to request any unassigned seat assignments, special meals, wheelchair assistance at airports or anything you may need to make the flight portion of your trip as comfortable as possible.
  • We recommend you call the airlines a few days before your departure to reconfirm your flight times, as schedules are always subject to change.
  • If you have made your own flight arrangements, please ensure that you have forwarded a copy of the itinerary to Allure Adventures & Events.
  • Although there are no compulsory vaccinations required for direct entry into the destinations featured, we recommend you discuss your own particular needs and contraindications to vaccines or tablets with your doctor or practice nurse, at least 3 weeks before travel, for up-to-date, individual advice.
  • Travel with an open mind and always be respectful and mindful of local cultures and way of life. We also ask that you be understanding about travel conditions, especially in third world countries. Unexpected situations do happen, such as but not limited to weather, irregular transport operations, strikes, etc.). These are often unavoidable and beyond our control, however we always strive to ensure a safe operation of all our programs.
